Argentum Field now covers Belgium

Describe your materials problem as before. Once a research direction is clear, the laboratory search now covers Belgian university platforms, research centres and core facilities, reviewed from their own public pages with the same evidence labels as the Dutch ones.

Each lead still shows the source it rests on and how far that source goes. A public page never means current availability, and no laboratory is contacted on your behalf.

Leuven or Louvain, Gent or Gand, Liège or Luik, Brussel or Bruxelles: the Field Agent recognises the common English, Dutch and French names of Belgian and Dutch cities with laboratories. Louvain-la-Neuve stays Louvain-la-Neuve.

For the main method of your question, a lead in the city you name comes first; when that city has none, a nearby lead comes first, even across the border. Other methods keep their own order. When every lead for a method is in the other country, the answer says so: "No lead in Belgium yet for this method; the leads shown are in the Netherlands."

Answers are written in English or Dutch; French answers are not available yet. The free question, the free workspace and its limits are the same. Luxembourg is not covered yet.

Coverage is uneven. At launch the Belgian leads are strongest in electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction, and thinner in X-ray reflectivity, ellipsometry and Raman spectroscopy. The coverage panel under every search shows which methods have a Belgian lead and which do not.

The privacy notice now also names the Belgian Data Protection Authority. The operator and the processing are unchanged.
